This role is ideal for an experienced and motivated Junior Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume catering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting kitchen operations, maintaining high food quality standards, and assisting with the smooth execution of large-scale events and daily catering requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to a consistently high standard

• Supporting large-volume production for events, functions, and contracts

• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards are strictly maintained

• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste

• Leading and motivating junior kitchen staff when required

Key Requirements:

• Previous large-volume catering experience is essential

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure

• A hands-on, reliable, and professional approach to work

• Valid driver’s licence is required

• Own reliable transport is essential

• Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by catering operations
