About the Role

Our client is offering a unique opportunity to become an Apprentice Boilermaker in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch. This apprenticeship will equip you with the essential skills for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining boilers, tanks, and other large vessels. You will learn to work with heavy steel and other metals, mastering techniques such as cutting, shaping, welding, and riveting under the guidance of expert boilermakers.

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of steel structures and pressure vessels.
• Learn to cut, shape, and join metal plates using various tools and equipment.
• Develop proficiency in welding, riveting, and fastening techniques specific to boilermaking.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

• A keen interest in metal fabrication and construction trades.
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, with a good understanding of Mathematics and Physics.
