About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Field Installation Technician to join their team in the picturesque Stellenbosch region. This role is essential for the successful deployment and setup of client equipment and systems on-site. You will be responsible for ensuring that every installation is performed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and operational uptime.
The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in various environments, upholding our client's reputation for excellence in service delivery and technical expertise throughout the installation lifecycle.
- Perform on-site installations of equipment and systems, adhering strictly to technical blueprints and company protocols.
- Conduct initial system testing and calibration to ensure proper functionality post-installation.
- Diagnose and resolve any installation-related issues or defects promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all client sites.
- Document all installation activities, including materials used, time spent, and any encountered challenges.
- Provide basic operational guidance to clients upon completion of the installation.
- Previous experience as an Installation Technician or in a similar field service capacity.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and work with various types of equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be reliable for site visits.
