Electronics Repair Technician

About the Role

Our client requires an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to manage their repair center in Paarl . This role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of electronic devices and equipment, ensuring they are returned to optimal working condition. You will be responsible for meticulous fault finding, component-level repair, and quality assurance testing. This is a hands-on role for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for solving complex electronic problems in the Western Cape .

• Diagnose electronic faults using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
• Perform component-level repairs on circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
• Test repaired units to ensure full functionality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Stay updated on new electronic technologies and repair techniques.

• Proven experience as an Electronics Repair Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuit analysis.
• Proficiency with soldering and desoldering techniques for surface-mount components.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and diagrams.
• Good problem-solving skills and manual dexterity; must be based in or able to commute to Paarl .
