- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to plan installation layouts.
- Connect power cables, circuit breakers, and control systems according to specifications.
- Perform diagnostic tests on electrical systems and troubleshoot faults.
- Ensure all installations comply with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Manage electrical installation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Installation Technician or Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, safety procedures, and relevant codes (e.g., SANS 10142).
- Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and understand complex technical diagrams and specifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to work on sites throughout the Stellenbosch area.
