About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and meticulous Aircraft Systems Technician to join their maintenance team in Stellenbosch . In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of various aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental control systems. Ensuring the airworthiness and optimal functionality of aircraft is paramount. Key Responsibilities- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify system malfunctions and potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system faults, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure all work performed is in accordance with manufacturer specifications, airworthiness directives, and company procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and time expenditures.
- Collaborate effectively with other maintenance personnel and engineers to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
- Relevant trade qualification or certification in Aircraft Maintenance or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Systems Technician or similar role.
- Solid understanding of aircraft electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with relevant diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
