About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Field Installation Technician to join their team, serving the Paarl and surrounding Western Cape areas. This role is essential for the successful deployment of specialized equipment, ensuring it is installed correctly and operates according to specifications. You will be responsible for on-site installations, basic configuration, and initial client handovers, acting as a key representative of our client's technical expertise.

• Perform professional installations of equipment at customer locations in and around Paarl .
• Ensure all installations adhere to technical specifications, safety guidelines, and company standards.
• Conduct post-installation checks and basic system tests to verify proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of completed installations, materials used, and any site-specific notes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to schedule installations and address any initial queries.
• Report any installation issues or necessary follow-up actions to the relevant department.

• Previous experience in a technical installation or field service role, preferably in Installation & Maintenance .
• Proficiency with common tools and equipment used in installation tasks.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation guides.
• Good problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel locally within the Paarl region.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
