About the Role

Our client is seeking motivated individuals for an 'Apprentice Artisan (Mechanical Fitter) ' program in Paarl, Western Cape . This apprenticeship provides comprehensive training to become a skilled mechanical fitter, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment. You will work under the guidance of experienced artisans, learning essential trade skills in a hands-on environment. We are looking for candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and a desire to build a stable and prosperous career in a vital industrial field.

This role is essential for supporting the operational efficiency of our client's facilities.

• Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications for mechanical components.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery.
• Operate various workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workshop and on-site.

• Grade 12 certificate with passes in mathematics and physical science.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
• Strong commitment to learning the trade and upholding quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Apprentice salary of R78,000 per annum.
