Junior Aircraft Mechanic

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Aircraft Mechanic to join their growing maintenance team in Stellenbosch . Under the guidance of experienced mechanics and engineers, you will assist in performing routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on various aircraft types. This role requires a strong willingness to learn, adherence to safety protocols, and a foundational understanding of aircraft systems, contributing to the overall operational readiness and safety of the fleet.

• Assist senior mechanics in performing scheduled maintenance tasks and inspections on aircraft.
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and assist in their rectification.
• Support the maintenance and organization of tools, equipment, and the workshop area.
• Learn and apply standard aircraft maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Accurately document work performed under supervision.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Completed aviation mechanic apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification/certification.
• Basic understanding of aircraft systems, engines, and airframes.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a workshop environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass background checks and provide necessary documentation.
