Maintenance and Repair Technician

Our client is seeking a diligent Maintenance and Repair Technician for their operations in Paarl . This role is integral to ensuring the operational continuity and safety of their facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, from routine inspections and preventative measures to prompt and effective repairs. This hybrid position combines essential on-site duties with the flexibility of remote administrative tasks, allowing for efficient management of schedules and reporting.

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled to minimize wear and tear.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly and effectively.
• Respond to urgent repair requests and emergency situations to ensure safety and operational continuity.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies, and report needs for replenishment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately in the company's system.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar repair role.
• Solid understanding of building systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing principles.
• Ability to use a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Good organizational skills for managing tasks and reporting.
