Kickstart your engineering career as an Ironworker Apprentice with FLINT in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Gain hands-on experience in construction while learning critical safety and quality measures.
FLINT is looking for apprentices for its Fort McMurray Capital Project starting June 2026 through March 2027. Candidates should have a valid trade certificate and be ready to engage in various construction tasks. Key duties include welding, piping, and structural installations, all while promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform construction and structural installations efficiently
• Carry out welding and piping tasks with precision
• Execute tie-ins and exchanger construction work
• Adhere to mandatory safety training protocols
• Collaborate effectively with the workforce
Requirements:
• Valid journeyperson or apprentice trade certificate
• Minimum 4 years of oil and gas construction experience preferred
• Completion of safety ticket requirements
• Reliable transportation to the job site
• Clean driver’s abstract with under 6 demerits
