Brightspeed is searching for a Network Engineer, Outside Plant to join our team. As a Network Engineer, Outside Plant, you will be responsible for the design and preparation of engineering work orders for land developments, new buildings, single line requests, rehab, DSL, FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, road relocations, augmentation projects and special circuit requests. You will utilize tools including NDS, AutoCAD, Fireworks/Bid master, JDS, FORTE, WFMT, ARMOR, TIRKS, LFACS, and the full suite of Microsoft Office.
As an outside plant field engineer you will be assigned a geographic area and will be responsible for all Outside Plant (OSP) job requests. In this role you will design and acquire civil permits, maintain positive interaction with internal and external customers, and maintain open conversation with planning and all company departments providing a high quality of service to Brightspeed customers.
