Appliance Installer
At Gifford TV & Appliance, we are a team of appliance installation professionals who are dedicated to providing our customers with a seamless installation experience. We are looking for an appliance installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens. He or she will be responsible for ensuring that all appliances are installed properly and in a timely manner.
The most successful appliance installer will be able to work independently and be detail-oriented.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To install, maintain, and repair a variety of appliances in both residential and commercial settings
- To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and local building codes
- To provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
- To arrive to appointments on time and prepared with all necessary tools and parts
- To diagnose problems quickly and accurately and provide customers with cost-effective solutions
- To keep up to date on new products and installation techniques through ongoing training
- To properly document all work performed and maintain accurate records of time, materials, and invoices
- To upsell customers on extended warranties and maintenance plans when appropriate
- To cross-sell other services offered by the company when applicable
- To safely operate a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record
- To adhere to all safety regulations while on the job
- To perform physical labor as required, including lifting heavy appliances and climbing ladders
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) and climb ladders
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating
- Exceptional customer service skills
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
