Position OverviewOur industry leading company is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities- Ensure timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes.
- Review orders prior to delivery.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our client base.
- Follow routes and time schedule.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Motivated to train and learn.
- Team player and must get along with others.
- Desire to go above and beyond the job description.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned by management.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills.
- Time management skills.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, conduct and appearance.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. of merchandise.
- Properly maintain company vehicle(s) and take the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues.
- Ensure that company vehicle(s) are kept clean and presentable.
- Must be able to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment using moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
