Accounts Receivable Manager

Our confidential client in Macomb County is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee all accounts receivable functions, including cash application, posting journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, completing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close.

The role also requires managing aging, overseeing collections and variance analysis, evaluating and implementing process improvements, and partnering with finance leadership to support operational performance and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounts receivable functions, including cash application, posting journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and completing account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end close activities.
  • Manage aging, oversee collections and variance analysis.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements.
  • Partner with finance leadership to support operational performance.
Qualifications
  • At least five years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience with a large ERP system such as SAP, Net Suite, or Sage.
  • Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and related functions.
Compensation & Benefits

Full-time, permanent position. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.

Employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
