Foundation Personnel, a specialist recruitment partner to the geotechnical and foundations sector, is working with a specialty design‑build geotechnical contractor and ground improvement company delivering solutions for sites with challenging soil conditions across the United States.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Lead projects safely, ensuring full compliance with company and site-specific health & safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site safety audits and promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
- Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, invoicing, payment collections, and financial reporting.
- Negotiate contracts, change orders, claims, and supplier agreements.
- Review contract documents, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring contractual and operational objectives are achieved.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings, pre-construction site assessments, and ongoing progress reviews.
- Support business development activities, including client meetings, conferences, trade shows, and technical presentations.
- Collaborate with sales, estimating, engineering, and operations teams to strengthen regional capabilities and drive business growth.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of construction practices including but not limited to, contract claims and management, dispute resolution, cost control, means & methods, skilled trades, and equipment.
- Thorough understanding of labor agreements (including but not limited to Union agreements).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Up to 25% travel within a given region required.
