The CAD designer creates precise and manufacturable design documentation by translating customer specifications into accurate CAD models and drawings. Applies a solid foundation in CAD principles and design practices while mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Interpret site survey documents
- Assist and mentor newer team members with redlines and comprehension of customer specifications
- Create production drawings and detailed assemblies
- Maintain drawing accuracy, clarity, and compliance with standards
- Collaborate effectively across departments
Required Skills
Qualifications Items listed are required unless "preferred" is indicated
• High School Diploma; CAD certificate or degree preferred
• 1–3 years relevant experience
• Strong geometric aptitude and software proficiency
Required:
AutoCAD, Excel, Word
Preferred: BIM tools and 3D CAD platforms such as Inventor or Revit
