Paraprofessional; aide - Special Education

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Special Education Aide at Clinton High School. This is a 1-1 position.

• Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide one-on-one support to students in the classroom, helping them with academic tasks and social interactions.
• Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and engagement, reporting findings to teachers and special education staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in special education practices.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and adhere to all school policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent; must have or be willing to obtain paraprofessional license. Direct questions about obtaining a para license click link or contact ROE

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
