Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science and/or Math Teacher to join our team at Coloma High School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in math and/or science education and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for our students. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth
– Use a variety of instructional methods and technologies to enhance student understanding of scientific concepts
– Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success and school-wide initiatives
– Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in science education
– Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university
– Applicants must be highly qualified with an endorsement in Math and/or Science from the Michigan Department of Education or be willing to obtain one
– Experience teaching science and/or match at the high school level
– Strong content knowledge in Science and/or math
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
– Dedication to continuous improvement and student success
Salary and Benefits:
