Position Summary:

The Part-Time Art Teacheris  responsible for planning and delivering engagingartinstruction for
students in grades K–12. This position fosters creativity, self-expression, and artistic skill
development while adapting instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of ages and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriateartlessons for K–12 students
  • Teacha variety ofarttechniques, media, andarthistory concepts across grade levels
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
  • Display student artwork and support school events, showcases, or performances
  • Collaborate with staff across grade levels and communicate with families as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree inArtEducation or related field (preferred)
  • Validteachingcertification (if required by state)
  • Experience working with students across multiple grade levels (K–12 preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction for a wide age range
  • Passion forartand student development
Work Schedule

This is a part-time, school-year position. Hours and days will be determined based on the
school schedule. The position does not typically include summer months, school breaks, or
holidays unless otherwise directed.

Work Environment

Primarily school-based, with regular interaction with K–12 students, staff, and families.
