Position Summary:
The Part-Time Art Teacheris responsible for planning and delivering engagingartinstruction for
students in grades K–12. This position fosters creativity, self-expression, and artistic skill
development while adapting instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of ages and abilities.

- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriateartlessons for K–12 students
- Teacha variety ofarttechniques, media, andarthistory concepts across grade levels
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Display student artwork and support school events, showcases, or performances
- Collaborate with staff across grade levels and communicate with families as needed
- Bachelor’s degree inArtEducation or related field (preferred)
- Validteachingcertification (if required by state)
- Experience working with students across multiple grade levels (K–12 preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for a wide age range
- Passion forartand student development
This is a part-time, school-year position. Hours and days will be determined based on the
school schedule. The position does not typically include summer months, school breaks, or
holidays unless otherwise directed.
Primarily school-based, with regular interaction with K–12 students, staff, and families.
