Description:
The district isseekingahighly motivatedindividualto serve asaCTEAutomotive Mechanicsinstructor.
Qualifications:
- Possess a validCTEMichigan teaching certificatewhich allows the holder to instruct courses under CIP code 47.0604 OR
- 4000 industry related hours inthe automotive industry and bewilling to enroll in,and complete,a CTE program ofworkleading to endorsement.
Additional Endorsement Preferred
:
Valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Industrial Technology (IX) or (TE) endorsement ASE Automotive Certified
- Successful prior experienceutilizingtechnology to deliver engaging instruction.
- Successful experience working with/instructing secondary students preferred
- Applicants mustpossessstrong interpersonal skills anda strong desiretopromote student success.

- Applicantmustpossessdesire and familiarity with addressing the social and emotional needs of the learners.
- Applicant must recognize and embrace the assignment as part of the district professional team.
- Staff will be tasked with program compliance including but not limited to: CTE c ompliance, pupil accounting records compilation, maintenance, and submission
