Rate Range: $40/Hour to $45/Hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Manufacturing Process Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
- Support axle assembly operations by applying industrial and manufacturing engineering principles to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Lead equipment delivery, commissioning, and process validation activities to ensure capable assembly processes.
- Conduct time studies, ergonomic evaluations, and process audits to ensure compliance with Powertrain Operations standards.
- Analyze throughput constraints, carrier inventory issues, and machining concerns, driving root cause and corrective actions.
- Develop process documentation, work instructions, and quality methods to support assembly operations.
- Drive lean manufacturing, variability reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in lean manufacturing, process validation, time/motion studies, ergonomics, and variability reduction within automotive or similar manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to lead equipment commissioning and continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, DOE, and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
