Overview:
Seeking an experienced MBSE Lead Engineer to drive Model-Based Systems Engineering strategy, execution, and governance across a major defense vehicle program. This role focuses on building and managing SysML-based digital engineering environments using Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for MBSE execution across systems and software teams
- Develop and manage SysML models using Cameo Enterprise Architecture
- Define and execute systems engineering processes within MBSE frameworks
- Lead requirements decomposition, architecture, and interface definition
- Support development of system architecture, trade studies, and V&V planning
- Establish and maintain MBSE model structure (BDD, IBD, activity, sequence, state diagrams)
- Build and track program metrics (TPMs, risks, trades, design decisions)
- Support Digital Engineering (DE) initiatives and tool integration (Teamcenter, Cameo, etc.)
- Enable model reuse across programs, IRADs, and future initiatives
- Develop MBSE standards, style guides, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related technical field)
- 10+ years of systems engineering experience
- Strong experience in vehicle/system-level engineering
- Hands-on experience with Cameo (required)
- Proficiency with SysML and MBSE methodologies
- Strong understanding of systems architecture and integration
- Experience working in defense or complex engineering programs
Preferred:
- Experience with Digital Engineering environments and tool integration
- Familiarity with GCIA, MOSA, or similar architectures
- Experience integrating tools such as Teamcenter, Capital Harness, MADe, etc.
- Strong background in requirements management and systems decomposition
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
