Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Construction) - Up to $160k/yr - Free Benefits

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

We handle simple plan-and-spec projects to those requiring in-house Design/Build expertise. Our project managers, estimators, engineers and on-site project foremen work to ensure that every project is designed, planned and executed efficiently and expertly.

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and support electrical power systems for healthcare, mission-critical, and data center facilities, ensuring reliable, safe, and code-compliant operation. This role works closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout design and construction.

• Design power distribution systems for commercial, industrial, data centers, and hospitals.
• Size and specify transformers, switch gear, panel boards, UPS systems, generators, ATSs, feeders, and protective devices.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit and arc flash studies, and energy code compliance reviews.
• Develop electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, FGI, and other applicable standards.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, architects, contractors, and project teams throughout project execution.
• Design lighting systems and perform photometric analyses using AGi

• Minimum 6+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer. (Construction or Industrial)
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data centers.
• Knowledge of power distribution, backup power, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, and electrical analysis software.
• Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, FGI, and energy codes.
