Financial Controller
Multi-unit Hospitality and Property Management Company is searching for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller (FC) will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, like preparation and management of the hotel’s and other entities financial budgets and reports, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the entities in compliance with local tax laws.
This position will assist the Director of Operations and Owners with special projects as needed.
Financial Controller Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial reports for multiple properties to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Accurately complete account reconciliations and review them with the CPA firm.
- Provide financial analysis on Acquisition, Refinance, and Disposition of development or revenue projects.
- Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Maintain accounting dashboard, cash flow, debt, and equity projections and provide actionable insights based on findings.
- Enter Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate data entry into Quick Books.
- Monitor Labor and payroll processes and practices. Assist with other payroll processing duties and compliance, as needed.
- Requires ability to interpret accounting principles/extract information and perform arithmetic functions.
- A degree in finance or accounting and a CPA is preferred.
- 4-7 years of Accounting experience working with multiple revenue centers/units in either Hospitality / Real Estate / Property Management.
- Communication, self-motivation, patience, organization skills.
- Able to collaborate with leadership and property Managers and also be able to work independently.
- Quick books and M3 experience is preferred.
- Base salary of 85k to 95k.
- Full-time benefits.
