Information Technology Support Specialist

Contract:

12-month contract with possibility of extension

$27–$35/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Technician to support both office and manufacturing environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to delivering timely, accurate support.

• Respond to IT user requests and resolve incidents across office and plant environments.
• Provide desktop, laptop, and mobile phone support.
• Support plant operations by participating in IT-related project activities.
• Image, configure, and deliver new computers to users.
• Monitor infrastructure needs and reporting to the central team.
• Manage backup tape changes and ensure proper data handling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support complex manufacturing applications, including hardwired/wireless connections and Windows server shared folder permissions.
• Troubleshoot Cisco Any Connect client issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project-related work.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of IT Support experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• General knowledge of manufacturing-specific applications and systems, preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial automation systems and equipment, a plus.

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• On-call rotation (shared between two team members) for 24/7 coverage
