Infrastructure Engineer

Oakland County, Michigan (Hybrid 2-3 days)

$75,000 - $77,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits

We’re partnering with a large, mission‑driven organization to hire a Google Workspace Infrastructure Engineer focused on managing and optimizing enterprise collaboration and identity platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting and modernizing a Google Workspace environment.

• Administer & optimize Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Groups, collaboration tools)
• Manage enterprise email systems including routing, security, and performance
• Support identity and access management (Entra , SSO, MFA, DNS)
• Maintain and monitor core infrastructure across cloud and hosted environments
• Develop automation scripts and improve system efficiency
• Partner cross‑functionally to support platform integrations and modernization efforts

• 3+ years of experience with Google Workspace administration
• Experience with enterprise email systems
• Strong knowledge of identity / access management (Entra , SSO, MFA)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, security, certificates)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Scripting experience (Power Shell or similar)
• Experience in public sector or education or large‑scale non‑profit environments
• Exposure to virtualization (VMware, etc.)

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations; and
• other business and organizational needs.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or participation in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's retirement plan (or similar retirement benefits).
