Role Description The Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Elite Hill Consulting is a full-time, on-site role based in East China, MI. This role oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and distribution to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high service levels. The Vice President leads cross-functional teams, sets strategic direction, and develops policies and processes that align supply chain performance with business goals.

Daily responsibilities include analyzing data and key performance indicators, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with finance, operations, and sales, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and mentoring supply chain leaders and staff.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in supply chain management, operations, or logistics, preferably in a senior or executive role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, cost, and service quality.
  • Strong skills in procurement, inventory management, production planning, and distribution management.
  • Experience with supply chain analytics, forecasting, and demand planning tools.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and other supply chain technologies; experience leading system implementations or upgrades is an advantage.
  • Track record of leading change, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and developing high-performing teams.
