Overview

Oversees daily Super Vision Center store operations and employees, ensuring customers receive the best care and service possible, exceeding patient’s expectations within their direct area of supervision and all areas of the business unit. Receives and resolves customer concerns and complaints within established guidelines. Responsible for analyzing training needs, developing and administering training plans and procedures to ensure employee development. Administers corporate policies and procedures.

Responsible for the efficient and cost‑effective operations within the assigned office, maintaining appropriate records and preparing required reports.

• Constantly and measurably improve store operations. Maintain and improve remakes, payroll, insurance deficiencies, and customer service, training, inventory, merchandising and marketing functions all pertaining to the individual store.
• Interview and select employees. Ensure the office is adequately staffed.
• Promote and build effective teams by conducting staff meetings to ensure everyone is committed to corporate goals.
• Nurture and empower others to achieve. Provide immediate feedback and recognition to employees. Conduct performance evaluations according to corporate guidelines.
• Establish goals for individual and team performance using corporate action plans. Give timely feedback and helpful coaching while evaluating performance on a daily basis.
• Accurately assess strengths and development needs of employees, providing individualized training. Maintain documentation on each employee regarding training completed and performance information.
• Maintain a professional image through appearance and actions. Cross‑train staff to develop skills in every area of the office. Display initiative in all individual and team assignments.
• Demonstrate flexibility when handling customer and staff situations. Consider and assess needs of other offices by sharing staff members between offices when necessary. Demonstrate adaptability to new and changing policies and procedures.
• Anticipate customer needs and take action to meet/exceed them. Take personal responsibility to ensure self and staff respond to and address customer needs.
• Demonstrate effective organization and personal management skills, efficiently organizing, prioritizing and delegating daily activities for self and staff to accomplish goals.

• Requires high school diploma or GED. Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Requires an understanding of budgets, revenue and expenses.
• Requires prior optical experience.
• Demonstration of managerial, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Completion of all required training courses.
• ABO Certification preferred.
• Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy.
• Must practice the customer skills as provided through ongoing training and in‑services.

Works in a retail office environment. Weekly schedule may span across seven days, and may include nights and weekends.
