Position: Maintenance Electrician (1st & 2nd Shift)

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Schedule: Day Shift 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Afternoon Shift 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (15% shift premium)
Type: Contract-to-Hire / Full-Time

Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to support a busy manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, controls, and equipment while ensuring smooth operations and supporting process improvements.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on motors, electrical controls, conveyors, presses, and other machinery
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root-cause problem solving to maintain operational efficiency
  • Support setup and operation of production equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety protocols
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks, corrective actions, and proper documentation
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and support team goals
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and schematics
  • Experience with motors, controls, automation, and related manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams
  • Welding skills (MIG/Arc) and use of cutting torches a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality and environmental standards (IATF
    16949, ISO 14001) preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting
  • Willingness to work required overtime
