Job Overview

Ginop Sales is seeking a full‑time Assembly Technician for our Williamsburg, MI branch. The role involves assembling or repairing products with small parts and components to specified dimensions.

• Read blueprints and manuals to assemble product or equipment.
• Check inventory to ensure correct materials are available.
• Use tools and machinery to assemble product.
• Perform quality assurance for accuracy.
• Inspect during and after build.
• Apply Alta's Guiding Principles to daily work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain consistent attendance and arrive at scheduled start time.
• Work Saturdays on a rotating basis.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction or auto‑mechanic experience preferred.
• Team‑work ability.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. ERP experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Time‑management skills and the ability to communicate with coworkers and customers at all levels.
• Language Skills – intermediate ability to read, interpret, and write technical documents.
• Mathematical Skills – basic arithmetic and application to monetary and measurement units.
• Reasoning Ability – basic understanding to perform written or oral instructions and solve simple problems.

• Perform tasks that involve sitting, hand use, talking, hearing; reaching, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting and smelling.
• Lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work near moving mechanical parts; exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
