Machine Builder/Sub-Assembly - Sterling Heights, Michigan
Day Shift - Contract Position
Pay Rate: approximately $27.50 per hour


* Looking for experienced Sub-Assembly Builders versed in GM Standards and Practices.

Description of the Machine Builder/Sub-Assembly:

Attention to detail and able to focus on small details

Be able to read assembly drawings and detail prints

Have proper tool packages

Understand basic welding principles and practices

Understand basic measurement tools and proper implementation including metric scale, calipers, micrometers, and indicators

Be able to operate various types of equipment such as mills and welders

Know about NAAMS standards and how they are incorporated into subassembly of tools

Showing up for work on time and good attendance is necessary

Understand and be able to read key sheets and stencil cylinders and units

Understand basic machining principles and practices

Must be organized and keep area clean
