Your day at a glance
You start with preventative rounds across the plant—inspecting conveyors, checking VFD parameters, and listening for tell-tale bearing noise. A production call comes in: an assembly cell has stopped. You trace signals through sensors, relays, and contractors, isolate a drive fault, and bring the line back up. After lunch, you fabricate a small bracket and lay a clean MIG bead to support a new sensor mount.
You wrap up by logging work orders, noting LOTO steps followed, and preparing for a weekend improvement project.
