Position SummaryIndicon LLC is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Panel Kitting Team Associate to support our panel shop operations. This role is essential to keeping production running efficiently by ensuring material kits are accurately prepared, inventory remains organized and accurate, and production teams have the materials they need to meet customer demands.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, basic Excel knowledge, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset focused on supporting production and helping the shop maintain workflow.
Key Responsibilities- Review Bills of Material (BOMs) and accurately gather components required for production jobs.
- Assemble and stage material kits for the panel shop according to production schedules and requirements.
- Utilize inventory management systems to locate parts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Process inventory transactions by adding, removing, and adjusting material quantities as needed.
- Perform point-of-service runs to support shop leads and address production needs, including:
- Missing parts
- Damaged or broken parts
- Incorrect materials
- Urgent production requirements
- Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of the stockroom and kitting areas.
- Work closely with production personnel, shop leads, and materials management to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards.
This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Sterling Heights facility near 19 Mile Road and Mound Road (anticipated relocation) - Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM

- Experience in materials handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, or stockroom environments
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
