Job Overview:

PRATT Industries is seeking a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts for our trailer manufacturing process. As a CNC Operator at PRATT, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production and contributing to our commitment to innovation and excellence in trailer manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
  • Set up CNC machines, load materials, and ensure machine calibration.
  • Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure conformity with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including materials used, quantities produced, and any issues encountered during the process.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC operation preferred.
  • Proven experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machine setup, programming, and operation.
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
