Automotive Assembly Operator - 1st Shift
Location:
Sterling Heights, MI - near 18 Mile Rd. & Van Dyke Ave.
Starting Pay: $15.50/hour. Pay Increase: $17.00/hour after 90 days.
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM. Weekends & Overtime:
As needed based on production requirements.
We are hiring Assembly Operators to join a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals looking to build experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. As an Assembly Operator, you will work as part of a production team assembling automotive components while maintaining quality and production standards.
Responsibilities- Assemble automotive components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Operate basic production equipment and hand tools.
- Inspect parts for quality and defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety and production procedures.
- Meet established production and quality goals.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a national background check.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous manufacturing or automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Monday-Friday.
- Weekend work may be required depending on production needs.
- Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs.
- Starting pay: $15.50/hour.
- Increase to $17.00/hour after 90 days, based on meeting employment requirements.
