Forklift Operator - Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing

We are currently hiring Forklift Operators to join our team at a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM - $17.50/hour ($1.50 Raise after 90 days) Monday-Friday Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs

2nd Shift: 1:00 PM-9:00 PM - ($1.50 Raise after 90 days) $17.50/hour base pay + $0.75 shift premium Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs

3rd Shift: 6:00 PM-2:30 AM - ($1.50 Raise after 90 days) $17.50/hour base pay + $1.50 shift premium Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs

• Safely operate a forklift to move automotive parts and materials throughout the facility
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials as directed
• Supply production lines with necessary materials
• Inspect materials and loads for damage
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Work efficiently to support production requirements

• Must be able to pass a national background check
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
• Automotive or manufacturing experience is a plus
