Warehouse Lead II; AERO

The Warehouse Lead II will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and supplies for our organization. This is a hands‑on position for someone who can take ownership of our warehouse and inventory processes.

This is a first (1st) shift days position at our Aerospace, Defense & Prototype location in Sterling Heights Michigan.

• Reconciliation of incoming goods, managing inventory of tooling, material and WIP.
• Develop and implement logistics processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Quality assurance: inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications, manage defects or discrepancies, and maintain documentation of quality checks and inspections.
• Conduct regular review and analysis of logistics data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
• Coordinate and track the movement of goods and supplies to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, shipping and receiving information, and other relevant data.
• Communicate with suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Support any other shipping and receiving needs.
• Scheduling of trucks and routes.
• Management of all materials related personnel.
• All other warehousing duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics and operations
• Self-starter with great organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, Microsoft applications, and work within ERP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with shipping and customs regulations
• Ability to support, prioritize, and multi-task to support multiple areas
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period of time
• Forklift experience required
