Key Responsibilities- Prepare and stage equipment and materials according to production schedules.
- Perform mechanical and electrical setup of machinery and workstations.
- Verify machine calibration and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct first-piece inspections and obtain approval before full production runs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Document setup parameters and procedures for future reference.
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting or HMI interfaces.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., electronics, robotics).
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical or electrical schematics.
