Registered Nurse (RN), Neuro/Ortho/Peds Unit

Job Type: Full-Time 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period
Schedule: 6 x 12‑hour shifts, Nights (7p-7a), rotating weekends and holidays
Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 available to qualified applicants

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Document patient care delivered.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 1 year.
