About the role:
The QEHS Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the company’s integrated Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System
, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in maintaining certifications, managing audits, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring alignment between operational activities and contractual or regulatory obligations, including the effective implementation and maintenance of standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
. The role operates in close coordination with the Italian headquarters, to consistently align local activities with corporate guidelines, ensuring their accurate implementation and ongoing compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the integrated QEHS Management System
, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. - Maintain and update large Excel files, KPI trackers, and quality documentation databases.
- Monitor and maintain quality-related documentation
, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness. - Support and follow up on customer audits, requalification processes, and certifications.
- Perform continuous process follow-up to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
- Support technical documentation and translations when required.
- Prepare reports and monitor performance metrics through extensive use of Excel.
- Work in close coordination with the Italian headquarters
, ensuring the implementation of corporate procedures, priorities, and operational directives. - Act as a key liaison between the US operation and Italy, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
- Contribute to a structured and proactive approach to QEHS activities and audit preparation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
. - Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality management, ideally within manufacturing or metal‑mechanical industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 standards and their practical application.
- Familiarity with technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong capability in reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis.
- Good IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work within a structured international environment and follow corporate procedures and guidelines.
- Flexible, hands‑on mindset with availability for business travel.
- Knowledge of Italian (native or professional proficiency).
