We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement in product quality, process performance, and problem resolution. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in quality systems, statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and manufacturing quality engineering
.
- Lead quality investigations and implement corrective actions using 8D methodology, containment processes, and root cause analysis tools
. - Manage and support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities to improve manufacturing performance.
- Conduct measurement systems analysis (MSA), capability studies, and variable data analysis.
- Identify sources of process variation and drive effective corrective actions.
- Establish and monitor quality targets, critical characteristics, and inspection requirements.
- Collaborate with production, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurrence.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Support supplier quality activities and ensure compatibility with critical manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing quality or quality engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of SPC, quality systems, manufacturing processes, and statistical analysis.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex quality issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with MSA, capability studies, data analytics, and advanced quality tools.
- Knowledge of assembly, machining, and gear manufacturing processes.
- Experience with supplier quality and corrective action management.
