The Regulatory Affairs team plays a critical role in bringing innovative nutrition products to market around the world. Team members collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Research & Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Scientific Affairs to navigate evolving global regulatory requirements and support product innovation.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:

As a Regulatory Affairs Intern, you will support global ingredient and raw material assessments, helping identify opportunities to improve regulatory processes, documentation quality, and information gathering across markets. You'll work with regulatory data, analyze requirements, and help summarize global insights to support project teams as they advance products through the idea-to-market process.

An example of a typical project would be:

Example #1 - Global Regulatory Process Optimization
  • Evaluate global raw material and ingredient assessment processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, consistency, and documentation quality. Analyze regulatory requirements, registration timelines, and market-specific data to develop recommendations that support faster and more effective decision-making.
Example #2 - Global Ingredient & Market Assessment
  • Partner with regulatory professionals to gather, organize, and summarize information from markets around the world regarding ingredient acceptability, usage limits, and registration requirements. Present findings and recommendations that help guide product development teams through the idea-to-market process.
Example #3 - Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Leverage data, existing tools, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for process improvements within Regulatory Affairs. Develop recommendations that enhance information gathering, reporting, documentation practices, and overall team efficiency while supporting strategic business objectives.

Academic Eligibility:
Students who will have completed their junior year by the start of the internship and have an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and April 2028.

Technical

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret information from multiple sources.
  • Experience managing data, conducting research, or working with technical documentation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies is a plus.
