Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will independently showcase organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Starting hourly pay rate: $14.00 to $16.00 depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
- Part‑time employees offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours: 9-15 hours.
- Availability in the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
- Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandise surveys.
- Engage professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
- Manage entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Provide holiday support; may be required to work additional days, weekends, or holidays.
- Assist in installations, fixture building, and product relocation for department resets.
- Support team members as needed in their territories.
Must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders. Must operate in both shelf and backstock areas.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Capable of pulling, lifting, and carrying products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital handheld device.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
