About Pineapple
Pineapple is a global leader in designing innovative furniture solutions for challenging environments. Founded in 1975 as a family-run business, we now operate worldwide with offices in the UK, France, Germany, and the USA, employing over 200 people globally.
We design furniture that supports calm, safety, and wellbeing—combining functionality, sustainability, and great design.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson looking to develop their career within a growing international business.
You'll play an important role in growing our US customer base, identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers.
You'll use a combination of outbound calling, email, research and relationship building to identify and qualify new opportunities, while working closely with our Area Sales Representatives to progress larger opportunities.
You don't need to have experience in furniture or our industry. We're looking for someone with a strong sales foundation, the right attitude and a willingness to learn. We'll provide the product knowledge, training and support to help you develop and succeed the Pineapple way.
What you'll be doing
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, research and other prospecting activities.
- Build relationships with prospective and existing customers and identify their needs.
- Qualify leads and develop opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Arrange meetings and support Area Sales Representatives with new business opportunities.
- Prepare quotations and proactively follow up with customers.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within our CRM.
- Develop a strong understanding of Pineapple's products and the markets we serve.
- Work closely with the wider sales team to develop and convert opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows and showroom visits when required.
- Take ownership of your sales activity, targets and pipeline.
- Participate in regular training and development to build your product and sales knowledge.
