Aboutthe Role
This is a highly visible leadership role for a proven sales leader in the HVAC industry who wants to own the strategy and shape the team. Reporting into company leadership, you'll lead the sales organization, strengthen customer and manufacturer relationships, and drive the next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities- Set and deliver the overall sales strategy to hit revenue, margin and growth targets.
- Own the relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, building owners and developers, and partner with reps on strategic accounts and complex projects.
- Grow manufacturer partnerships, ensuring their products are represented effectively and market share keeps rising.
- Identify new markets, target accounts and product opportunities that support long-term growth.
- Set goals and KPIs, manage the pipeline and backlog, and contribute to forecasting, budgeting and annual planning.
- Represent the business at customer and manufacturer meetings, industry events and trade associations.
- 7+ years of progressive sales experience, ideally in commercial HVAC, HVAC equipment, building systems or the manufacturer's rep space.
- Sales leadership or management experience, with a track record of coaching teams to results.
- Strong understanding of how manufacturers, reps, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and building owners work together.
- Commercial and financial acumen covering revenue, margins, forecasting and profitability.
- The ability to explain technical HVAC products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
