Responsibilities:

• Leading, supervising, and directing a team of pipe fitters, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
• Possessing strong pipe fitting skills, including the ability to install, modify, fabricate, and repair piping systems.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation: schematics, and other technical drawings to plan and execute pipe fitting work.
• Inspecting completed and in-progress work for quality and adherence to specifications, standards, plans, and schedules.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting: identifying and resolving issues related to pipe fitting work, including leaks, blockages, and other problems.
• Mentoring and training less experienced pipe fitters and apprentices.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any modifications or repairs made.
• Safety compliance: ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other team members.
