Carpentry Assistant / Construction Helper – Role Summary
Required Skills:
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Competence with basic hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to operate basic power tools (such as drills) safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in rough carpentry or finish carpentry is an asset
Daily Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions from the lead carpenter
- Pick up, move, and organize materials on site
- Assist with assembly work (e.g., cabinets and similar structures)
- Perform basic finishing tasks such as sanding and painting
- Support general carpentry and construction tasks as needed
