Our client is seeking a skilled Qt/QML C++ Software Engineer to develop and maintain software applications supporting advanced military vehicle systems. This role will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality, efficient software while developing intuitive user interfaces and solving complex technical challenges.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Qt, QML, and C++.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define, design, and deliver new software features.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot software issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Support software development throughout the development lifecycle.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and modern C++ development practices.
• Stay current with advancements in Qt/QML, C++, and software development technologies.

• Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Demonstrated experience with the Qt framework and QML for user interface development.
• Familiarity with multithreading, networking, and advanced C++ concepts.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.

• Experience with cross-platform application development.
• Experience with software debugging and performance optimization tools.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience supporting defense, embedded, or military vehicle software programs.

• Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship may be required based on program requirements.
