Swim Route Bus Driver

• Current Wayland Union, CDL Licensed driver (sub or route)
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work independently

• Responsible for transportation of high school swim athletes to/from Allegan Public Schools pool.
• All responsibilities connected to operating a school bus per all applicable district policies & state/federal laws
• Conduct all pre-trip inspections as required
• Manage and maintain all athletes on the bus in a calm and safe manner
• Communicate with students, parents, and other staff members in a positive manner
• Maintain proper license and endorsement and pass DOT physical and random drug testing per DOT regulations
• Regular attendance is an essential job function

Seasonal position for girl’s HS Swim (now – 12/5/25)

4 hours per day, up to 20 hours per week (schedule will vary depending on swim schedule)
